DS9-EarthIts an Ancient Navajo Word... It Means Stop
Introduction
Running on fumes heading down the back stretch of six months of league play, I elected to trot out my latest Cadet retread for the final flight of the Online League. In building towards the 5x DS9-Earth player achievement, the design held it's own against a bevy of capable opponents and finished up the off-season on a high note.

Round 1Nathan WFW (+30)
The Alabama Slamma was testing TOS, but had no answer for a mid-game Phoenix after cycling away the Enterprise B with Nagata. Despite getting hung up on the ground for several turns, the dam eventually broke in the face of my double teams while he was stuck on WNOHGB. FW 100-70.

Round 2RelativityNickolay KorotyaFL (-35)
Big Money was rocking Relativity, and seemed to have a copy of Kirk and Chakotay in every attempt. With the game on the line and a free pass waiting for me at Avert Danger, he narrowly knocked out Risa Shore Leave with an ideal away team in what was a rousing comeback. FL 100-65.

Round 3FerengiOliver ThustFW (+70)
The Outlaw was experimenting with Ferengi, but was a couple of mission attempts behind almost immediately. Methodically churning through dilemmas, I simultaneously held him down with Intimidation and The Captain's "Guest" to earn the victory in this laugh filled affair against my favorite overseas rival. FW 100-30.

Round 4FerengiMichael MoskopFW (+100)View opponent's Report
Mr. Monday Night was also packing Ferengi, but couldn't keep up as I was off attempting Investigate Massacre on turn two. Following a pair of one attempt solves there and at Practice Orbital Maneuvers, I played it safe with dilemmas and locked up the win by double teaming my way through my last mission. FW 100-0.

Closing Thoughts
While still a bit shell shocked by the nature of my second round loss, I'm quite pleased with my overall performance in both this event and league season as a whole. Tallying up 1,000 league points in three years is an enormous achievement, and something I'll take pride in regardless of what happens moving forward.
