TOSTime is Like a Fuse... Short and Burning Fast
Introduction
Anticipating kill piles and dual HQ's aplenty in this Online League kickoff event, I conjured up a TOS design intent on countering all of the top decks du jour with unadulterated speed. Huge props to The Natural for laying the groundwork of the build, and to Big Kev for numerous strategy discussions throughout.

Round 1TOSKevin JaegerFW (+100)View opponent's Report
Big Kev was also looking to TOS, and tagged me with two copies of Necessary Execution at Secure Strategic Base early. After we traded McCoy shots, I punched through an Intimidation at Investigate Cryosatellite shortly before my newly reanimated crew cleared a Whisper in the Dark to seal the shutout. FW 100-0.

Round 2CardassianDaniel MattesonFW (+65)
The Gunslinger was playing Cardassian, and power bombed Kressari Rendezvous in one attempt as Sisko was noticeably absent. Gambling with dilemmas from that point forward, I eventually double teamed my way through Locate Mysterious Contact to lock up the come from behind win. FW 100-35.

Round 3RelativityOliver ThustFW (+100)
The Outlaw was engineering Relativity, but lost a hand full of All-Stars in his initial attempt thanks to Dreamer and never recovered. Despite being pinned down by a double dose of Accelerated Aging, Driven launched me past a Rogue Borg Ambush while he was stuck on the sidelines courtesy of WNOHGB. 100-0.

Round 4TOSChris A. MeadFW (+100)
The Crippler was trying out TOS, but was stymied at Investigate Destruction by Moral Choice and Personal Duty. Armed with the bonus draws provided by Locate Mysterious Contact, Persis & Co. cruised through both planets before clearing a Gomtuu Shockwave in the air to win another warp speed encounter. FW 100-0.

Round 5KlingonMichael Van BreemenFW (+40)
The People's Champ was administering Klingon, but was summarily sent WNOHGB following An Issue of Trust. Solving Investigate Cryosatellite in one shot put me in the driver's seat, and McCoy kept him in check long enough to earn a walk off win on the ground in this latest installment of our ongoing rivalry. FW 100-60.

Closing Thoughts
True to the deck title, none of my matches lasted longer than 9 turns over 5 rounds of play against several quality opponents. Thankfully for me, it appears as though the online meta is far less equipped to handle pure speed decks than the folks who make up The Land of 10,000 Champions.
