Weve Got Another Shark Problem Introduction The second act of Fargo Frenzy saw me mistakenly bring an OTF build to an OPEN tournament, but thankfully nobody was doing anything exceedingly nefarious. Round 1 Ian Parmenter FW (+35) Primetime was testing all planet Dominion with some Scout Encounter and Organ Theft tossed in for good measure. While his assassin combo gave me fits, I eventually killed him off with Karon to nail down the Genesis Device infused 2-mission win. FW 100-65. Round 2 Matthew Hayes FW (+100) The Animal was dealing Mirror Starfleet, and anticipated draws from Sherlock Holmes although my hand size was nearly always lower than his. When I blew through space and headed to planet, he conceded as he had still not drawn a ship and we were pressed for time. FW 100-0. Round 3 John Tomaszewski FW (+65) Turbo Lover was captaining Cardassian, but was comparatively slow out of the box as I was attempting on turn 2 and solving on turn 3. Not much else to say about this one other than there were no ban list shenanigans that I remember seeing on either side of the table. FW 100-0. Closing Thoughts Despite a complete failure on my part to read the tournament listing correctly, the Hirogen hung tough and powered through missions with workman like efficiency. All told, it was fun seeing some of those crazy old cards in a tournament again.
