Theres Just Too Many Captains on This Island... |
Introduction |
Craving some Regional action after missing out on my local events, I jumped into the Online environment to scratch the itch. Unfortunately, I forgot how ridiculously long the time limits for online play still are, and with a job change on the horizon I didn't have time to commit to more than one 2+ hour match. |

Round 1 | | Jordan Smith | FW (+100) |
Stardust was experimenting with Cardassian Snipers, but was comparatively slow out of the gate as I had solved two space missions before he came over to the DQ to spring his trap. Set back significantly by his Invasive Beam-In shenanigans, the game degenerated into a time sink where we both slogged through dilemmas until I finally broke through Quantum Incursions near the 2 1/2 hour mark. FW 140-80. |

Closing Thoughts |
The time limits for online play MUST be addressed as soon as possible. They are a huge turnoff to players looking for matches during shorter time frames as well as those who have lost their local groups. The game simply can't handle any more manageable attrition if it is to survive another year or more. |
