Introduction |
I set up this tournament to see who would play Starfleet for the Block Player achievement, and who would play Ferengi and actually try to win. (I don't know about one deck but I don't think anyone played anything else.) Having played Starfleet in block before (before the achievement was legal) I knew that like last time, I could and probably would only win if I played against another Starfleet deck. This is exactly what happened. |
|
Round 1 | | Matt Kirk | FW (+100) |
Matt was also playing Starfleet, and I managed to outdraw him and get the win here. As usual I don't remember much about games I played online as many as several weeks ago. |

The world champ played Ferengi. Never really had a chance here... |
Starfleet block vr TNG ferengi battle, I had to start solving early was out of position to easly battle him once he came through but one of the strogest block affilations vr one of the weakest ment it realyl wasent much of a contest, Daniel did well dispite his handicap. |

Round 3 | | Michael Van Breemen | FL (-70)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Or here either, with another Ferengi deck. And what luck, drew into my nemesis Mr. Kirk, then the current world champion, then a previous world champion. At least I walked out of this with one win. |
He's playing all Enterprise-era folks with the Raptors, Finally Ready to Swim, Surprise Party, We're Ready and Absolute Power (or whatever the Augment-killing interrupt for card draws is. He's gone through almost twice the size of my draw deck by the time the game ends. I've puked out everyone, solving the Steal Technology mission thanks to Strategic Base giving Picard +1 to offset his Distracted By Thoughts of Home reduction to get around needing Navigation and Cunning >7, taking his Ablative Armor in the process which was fun but his Evasive Maneuvers + docking at my Trading Post still meant that I couldn't hit him. Moved over to the Bok mission without Bok and solved due to my insane number of Exobiology (8 people to choose from for Microbrain) Got stopped at Last Outpost with God thanks to Thoughts of Home but I brought all three ships but auto-solved after that for the win. He got past one planet mission but not the second as Armus de-staffed his ship by the second mission. |
