Daniel Matteson (OKCoyote) Tournament Report - 2E 2013-11-10 - 01:30 PM Khanquinox Introduction Built Khan for the foil. I was the only one that brought a Khan deck into the fray. Added Equinox to get a ship early and some extra skill cheating with Nucleogenic cards. Did a little better than I expected. Round 1 Robert McGinty ML (-30) I made a mistake early in this game and mis-seeded a space dilemma (Personal Duty I think) at a planet mission. Robert solved the planet quickly (Locate Fuel Source) and doubled back to solve Caretaker's Array. I had solved Ceti Alpha V and was hammering on Genesis Planet where I made my second mistake on the last turn after time was called, and stopped the wrong person on the last dilemma to lock out a mission skill. Robert got the modified win here. Round 2 Alex Taylor FW (+65) Alex is still learning to play and doesn't get a lot of the concepts yet, but she did manage to solve one mission before I got the win here. Round 3 Ian Coleman MW (+25) Ian played an early Getting Under Your Skin and scored points followed by At What Cost on two consecutive turns for a huge early boost on counters spent. I got lucky with mission solving as by this time in the tournament he was starting to master his personnel's skill and dilemma cheating, but hadn't figured out how to overcome mine. Closing Thoughts I have the foil now and I'm never playing this thing again. Sorry Team London :) Congratulations to Tammy on sweeping the day's events!
