StarfleetRe-Inventing the Warp 5 engine
Introduction
Description says it all about why I played Starfleet again, now that RttAQ tourneys don't count I'm trying to re-achieve my gold Starfleet x10.. but I do like them as well. Worked out well, had Samuels in my opening hand two out of three games. Also, got 50 points from solving Eliminate Sphere Network each time, leading to awesome At What Cost usage.

Round 1BajoranDS9Corbin JohnsonML (-5)View opponent's Report
Playing a Tongo build in which Kai Winn kept putting 7-cost Chakotay back on top. I used what I could (Lustful, GPT) to keep them away; although before Chakotay was in the mix I won a couple Tongo's and got to use those points for AWC. Came close at the end, another turn or two and it could have gone either way. ML, 55-50.

Round 2Jason BeyerFW (+35)
He had Historical Research, and as we were rolling to see who went first, he got a 19 and seemed resigned to no download.. and then I went & rolled a 20. Umm.. woohoo? Was able to keep some bonus points off the table to avoid his 2-mission win.. but I have to say, seeing Battleship Guinan's usefulness makes me want to try her. FW, 100-35? ( I think I'm remembering that correctly)

Round 3TOSMike BurkeFW (+70)
He seemed to get off to a slower than expected start, and I had a lucky jump getting Samuels right off the bat again. Also, the Damaged Enterprise is great against Killing/Consume piles, as you can just play more people to the ship! Of course Archer got SI'd out at the first attempt, but the remaining crew held their own for the necessary turns while my dilemma pile did it's work - including a mission stop with one of my favorites, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. FW, 100-30.
