Keeping Up With the Cardassidents |
Introduction |
Rakhari Approach is only in the deck for the achievement. |
|
Round 1 | | Benjamin Liebich | FL (-100) |
He puts Insurrection on my first mission and then just keeps giving me In Development. Whatever dilemmas I throw at Ben, he just unstops his people. My only chance would’ve been to cancel his Central Command’s with Mila, but I don’t draw a single copy of her until too late. This deck is just at a whole another power level. I stood no chance. |

Round 2 | | Daniel Giddings | FL (-30) |
Danny has trouble drawing a ship, but it takes me FOREVER to complete my first mission after he puts Insurrection on my first mission too. He plays Holding Cell and I have to use my Enemy of Enemies just to get rid of it. He’s targeting Biology with his dilemmas, so I use my Tacking to put them back into my deck just in case, which might’ve ended up costing me the game. I can’t get a For Cardassia! after my first mission after he stops my third 1-coster before I solve. I start catching up after I’m able to start attacking missions with two crews and get to 70 points to tie up the game after successfully playing my second For Cardassia! He attempts with 16 on his last turn of the game; I draw Back to Basics but I don’t have enough in my discard pile for it to work. He’s able to get through the dilemmas that I can give him and gets the win right before I try to make my last stand Storming the Castle on the final turn. |

Round 4 | | Maggie Geppert | FL (-35) |
I unexpectedly solve my first mission on the first attempt after Maggie stops 2 but the 4 people I have left get it done. She gets four under her first mission with Field Studies and then starts hammering the second one with two crews. I don’t draw Timescape on her first attempts at all which means she wins while I’m trying to Storm the Castle. |

Closing Thoughts |
Cardassian Dissidents aren’t very good. Everything needs to go perfectly right for them to win. This deck probably needs to add Self-Replicating Roadblock to lower its susceptibility to In Development. |
