He didn't die to The Needs of the Many, he didn't want to die to A Taste of Armageddon so I solved Sha Ka Ree (Keevan took care of the other attempted death) I eventually did the same in space - Lore didn't die to The Needs of the Many again and made it through his Chula dilemmas for the solve.
