FerengiThe Magnificent Ferengi
Introduction
The whole goal of this deck and tournament was to get as many achievements in one tournament as possible. If I had somehow gotten a Ferengi deck to win, do so with a bare minimum deck size, publish the deck and get 17 or more rating points, I would get five achievements. Whether or not I would succeed, that remained to be seen. The deck was really just based on solving ideally two missions and using Ferengi Tradition to get the remaining points. I can use either Solok or Brunt to fuel either At What Cost or Surprise Audit for either extra speed or just getting a person present for the win. It was a hodgepodge of people but I didn't care. The dilemma pile was 2 Legacy with 3 An Issue of Trust and 3 Temptation along with 12 other assorted dilemmas to comply with Charlie's request.

Round 1DS9-EarthMichael MoskopFW (+60)
Never drew a Legacy against him the entire game. He had a hard time drawing dilemmas whereas I wasn't having a hard time getting through either Acquire Illicit Explosives or Expand Business Opportunities. He managed to get past Rogue Borg with a Discreet Inquiry of Norah Satie which was cool but never solved another mission. Solok went into play, he placed it under his space mission Amnesty Talks but wasn't that problematic. Also, never got Rule of Acquisition #6 for card drawing either (only game I didn't get it.) 100-35

Round 2DS9-EarthCasey WickumFW (+65)
Another DS9 Earth deck but this time, it was all of the higher-cost people (4-cost Worf, 4 Jadzia, etc.) He played four aliens on the first two turns and played Promenade School. Next turn, played Jaresh-Inyo and got even more fun folks in play. Meanwhile, I was getting good with dilemmas from him. At Acquire Illicit Explosives, I had stopped both my two Skron's with Rule #6 which caused his Pitching In to be too expensive, causing an over-spent dilemma and the first mission solved. Purchase Moon took longer but by that time, I was double-teaming the mission while playing my Ferengi Traditions. He got the first mission and never solved the second mission. I got to play Legacy twice (both on the turn after Kirk came back to hand) and both times they hit successfully (3-0, 3-2 respectively) 100-40

Round 3TNGEric BiecheFW (+100)
Eric was playing a two-mission Vintner deck, getting bonus points from such things as his ships and others. However, it took him a while to get started (finding a ship was proving problematic) which was the same problem that I was finding - All people, no ships. Finally, I got out to do Acquire and I get the following - Tragic Turn (consuming a Timescape and something else), Old Differences and Inferiority. Since I had given Lurin the skill of Astrometrics that turn with Lwaxana, I had the mission requirements done. I stopped him with Issue of Trust/Temptation/Occupational Hazards/Watch Your Step. Next mission, I go to Purchase Moon and attempt with 8. He stops two and the last dilemma is We'll Never Know. Doing a ninja move, I play Surprise Audit to bring in Gaila for the 3rd Physics and the mission solve. At 95 points and a turn to wait before I can play Solok for the win, I decide to just send everyone to Expand Business Opportunities. After a number of dilemmas, I solve the mission for the win. 100-0 (No Legacy used in this game.)

Round 4Non-AlignedAmber Van BreemenFW (+100)
I knew that I would never use Legacy in this game except as a last resort. The thing about know your fiancee's dilemma pile is that she had almost as many non-skill dilemmas (3 to my 2) as I did and she wasn't running Legacy. Thankfully, despite taking a long time to get a 2nd command star, I was getting going. Auto-solved Acquire Illicit Explosives on the 2nd attempt with 4 people while the bulk of my people were going to Expand Business Opportunities. A double team attempt on my second try with the mission netted me the mission and at 85 points. Despite not using Legacy on her, I was hitting her hard with Issue of Trust/WNOHGB and then Issue of Trust/Gomtuu, lastly giving her Issue of Trust and Watch Your Step. It gave me the time I needed so that all of my people (close to 15 in play at that point), made it to the new Ferengi mission and, one double attempt later, the mission was solved for the win. 100-0.
