Round 1 Ben Hosp FW (+100) Ben was playing Holograms and my dilemma pile was just holding him off in space for what seemed like forever. He got through eventually but not before I solved my three missions for the win. Round 2 Jonathan FW (+35)View opponent's ReportView original Report My dilemma playing skills were sorely lacking in this game at his first two missions, solving them in one shot before I was able to solve any. I was missing a skill at Deliver Evidence so I had to switch gears and headed to ALC which was easier to solve. I managed to solve Deliver Ancient Artifact and Deliver Evidence on the same turn, getting through a Breaking the Ice with two Garrens with Tricorder and The Viceroy in my faux attempt. Michael was playing a dual-HQ Romulus / Bajor deck, mostly a Romulan solver with Donatra and cool Romulan peeps, with just a couple Bajorans thrown in for discard retrieval help. He got started a bit a slowly and I believe I’d solve both NAC and SSB before he solved his first mission. He also made a couple dilemma-playing mistakes which helped me along. His first mission to solve was ALC; since my deck is made to solve ALC itself, this was not a serious problem for me. However, as I tried to solve my ALC, Michael stymied me over and over. He meanwhile built up multiple teams of impressive personnel, accumulated dilemmas under his other two missions, and then solved Deliver Ancient Artifact and Deliver Evidence in one turn. Very close game; we concluded I’d have won if I’d managed to hold him that turn and get another turn for myself. Instead, MVB got the FW, 100-65. Round 3 Tyler Fultz FL (-100) Tyler was planning on and assimilated three people, killing about a half-dozen or so more. If I had played Bashir, I probably would've had a mission solved at least. He solved Assimilate Resistance and Assess Contamination, getting the remaining points from One with the Borg, Annexation Drone and Expand the Collective for the win.
