Go without the Queen |
Introduction |
I should've been paying more attention to my mission skills than the simple premise of going without the Queen. |

It took forever to get people as I had almost everything but people in this game. Still, taking a bunch of his people, then solving two missions easily with Knowledge and Experience in back to back attempts/solves made up for it. |
Michael was playing Borg assimilation. At first, things were going pretty well for me, until he rapidly assimilated about half of my important Dominion guys at once. Not only was I suddenly full of skill holes, but he'd patched all of his. He passed several of my dilemmas using my own guys, and got a well-deserved FW. |

I apparently only had two Astrometrics and two Science personnel in the entire deck, problematic when you can't draw any of them. Attempts to assimilate those skills were only partially successful. Meanwhile Klingon Riker and company went through missions pretty easily to make them the winners. |
MvB had a sweet Borg build which used the opponent's personnel to fill his skill holes and also the numerous powerful Borg dilemma cheats. This came down to a combination of what skills Mike got from me and the inability to draw the (rare) key skills in his deck. I think this might have been in part to me attempting space first, since his deck used assimilation cards that hit at planet missions, he wasn't able to get any of my people until I went to planet (completed 1 mission).
Once Mike had some of my Klingons (including a Riker) he made quick work of my dilemmas and only struggled at getting his mission skills - which his deck was a bit too dependent on my personnel for. |

Borg vs Borg, one with the Queen and one without. Queen was just too funny so I went over and Abducted her. From there it made solving my missions that much easier, getting the win thanks to Knowledge and Experience. |
So much fun! We duplicated all our missions. I attempted first, was stopped, then Michael flew over and abducted my Queen and went on to use her for dilemma busting with K&E and some swapping. Michael decided to let me have the last mission rather than try to stop me but running the risk of giving me Locutus points. |
