RTF Sealed Deck |
Introduction |
Good Sealed deck... except I got nothing useable in my packs. What's worse, I didn't get an easier to solve planet mission besides Geological Survey. |
|
Round 1 | | Andrey Gusev | FW (+70) |
I was surprised at the two headquarters in the sealed deck format but I don't remember seeing any Cardassians entering play. I used one Mission Briefing to get around through one mission but it was more getting multiple ships to get to the space missions. This would continue to be a trend in this tournament. |

Assimilation in sealed deck... gotta love it! Still, picking on Borg skill holes as best as one can along with the time taken to use Borg Cutting Beam gave me the win. |
One Rixx changed sides, still several Leadership around.
Memo to me: look into the discard pile for Borg Queen before "don't have the skills to solve" |
|
Round 3 | | Kenneth Tufts | FL (-35) |
Reman Mines for the win... The fact that he got Pickpocket and Thieves to pull it off is a win in and of itself. Between the Reman Mines to get away with using just a Scout Vessel and drafting the pull of Casualties of War on my first planet mission taking out three people it was magical that I was one attempt away from winning. |

Round 4 | | Amber Van Breemen | FW (+70) |
She couldn't draw command stars to save her soul (she had one for almost the entire game.) |

Closing Thoughts |
Skill tracking kept me in these games despite the handicap... |
