FederationFed x5
Introduction
Since the Warp Pack had new TNG Fed cards (and since the last time I had played them was while Time Travel Pod beat me up in a burlap sack at an Iowa regional), I thought I'd give them a shot. Coupled with the only other free play engine (Scientific Diplomacy), I just grabbed cards and went.

Round 1KlingonMarkFW (+100)View opponent's Report
He was playing Illegit Klingons. I never saw the Enterprise and with my poor 5 Shield stolen ship made me increasingly wary of Spaceborne Entity so I focused on planets, managing to work through two planets (thanks to a handy War Room) to boost my attributes to more than adequate levels. He was getting smacked and walled with my random dilemmas that I was worried he was going to fly over to blow up my ship instead. Thankfully he had his side of the spaceline and I had mine. I left enough people behind at my outpost with mission skills before I mega-teamed space (confidence = Isomag in hand) but they pushed through for the win.

Round 2BajoranChris A. MeadFW (+100)View opponent's Report
He was playing a Here by Invitation deck that had better but less people than I. In this game, I was having a hard time drawing anything like HQ Secure Homeworld or any draw engine cards so I dropped everyone I had and went after missions. It seemed that, after every stop, I would draw into the personnel I needed to pass that dilemma. He almost solved one of his missions (Access Relay Station I think) but I got through my last mission for the win.

Round 3FederationNiall MatthewFW (+70)
Four missions duplicated so I put the odd strange dilemmas at one mission and the Dead End at the other. Ultimately, he did get through one mission as I chose the wrong two people to kill with Hunter Probe instead. I worked through our shared IMA and went to my non-duplicated space mission. He stalled after that and, instead of going to try to steal our duplicated planet for the win, I managed to one-attempt solve Earth by drawing finally (i.e. last four cards left) HQ Secure Homeworld for the win, solving in one attempt.

Closing Thoughts
Good times... and even better once I get my achievements for this tournament.
