Introduction
I wanted to use Isolated Ion Storm in a deck. As a built the deck, I found that I got to use a lot of cards I hadn't before, like A Day Long Remembered and Klingon Neelix. I was quite happy with the result!
Round 1FerengiChris MorseFW (+100)
Morse was ship-screwed. Like, really bad. He finally got one on top of his deck on his last turn using Moogie, but he didn't get another turn. I was concerned about a Phoenix under his Ferenginar too, but Azetbur stood ready to nuke some battle events to get 10 extra points. Didn't need to Neelix a Legacy because I hit three skill dilemmas (and facing a Legacy pile meant there wasn't much else for Neelix to do). I believe I used 2x A Day Long Remembered (+3 each) to sneak through my third mission despite a few Treachery personnel.
Round 2TNGChris O'ConnellFW (+70)
I also hit three skill dilemmas on a Legacy here, so Neelix stayed on standby. My first attempt was drop-stopped by Archaic Snare - any Klingon deck should be embarrassed to not meet a Security requirement. Lingering Grief was on the table early and kept the Gravies away, but was still useful for blanking my single Law versus Interstellar Exigence. A Day Long Remembered at +5 sealed my third mission. On O'Connell's side, he managed to microteam his first mission on his second attempt - after I'd captured Data and Jellico. I proceeded to forget to make him discard cards with Psychological Pressure.
Round 3VoyagerPamela Cyran SwansonFW (+80)
Pam was not a fan of Overwhelmed - Chell, Janeway, Chakotay, and Torres all ended up in my brig. She kept not quite giving me enough dilemma counters to use Overwhelmed + Temptation, but I got lucky with unassisted Temptations a few times in a row. Neelix got to flex a bit in this game, tunneling through an Outclassed and preventing a Brave Words from stopping a mission skill. That left him abandoned at Hunt Alien. I don't even think there's an atmosphere there, and he was all alone! Anyways, No Kill I was free to stop me without him around, but then I was able to attempt with 5 and solve, even without A Day Long Remembered.
