Klingon1999_Klingons.txt
Introduction
The deck is Klingon armada with blood oath. The overall strategy of the deck is a two-mission win, between good day to live and wormhole negotiations, both of which I can solve for 50+ points each. The armada is a fleet of seven Klingon birds, many of which I have matching commanders for.

Round 1Richard LaurieFW (+100)
From the start, it was clear that this was Klingons against GQ Dominion. Stellar unfortunately never got off the ground, with his one ship caught in a stasis trap before getting the 100-0 win.

Round 2BorgStefan SlabyFL (-100)
Four homeworlds. Unfortunately, I did not make the connection and Quo'nos was quickly assimilated by the borg.

Round 3KlingonRomulanMathew McCalpinMW (+10)
Klingons vs Rom/Kli alliance, and Scott seeding both Romulus and Quo'nos. Not only that, but Scott had a lot of high point missions, including overlapping with my own. This was going to get ugly quickly. With my outpost on the shared mission, I quickly ran into a dead end, pressuring me into completing an alt mission which likewise ended up with a dilemma combo that was not so simple to overcome. By this point, I had four K'vort on the table, up against Scots singular romulan warbird. Given I was all but locked out of missions, I did the next best thing and blew up Scotts outpost. Not long after, and four K'vort became six to be a constant thorn against the warbird. Finally solving one mission after drawing out my entire deck, I went after the second while Scot ran to the other side of the spaceline to avoid my sizeable fleet. He managed to complete one mission, while I ran into cytherians. That one ship had most of my crew, and eventually reached the warbird, which had been joined by a neg'var. Though they fought bravely, my K'vort fell in battle, taking the warbird with it. I saved the entire crew with evacuation orders, while a pair of K'vort closed in on the position of the fallen ship and the stranded crew, where we hit the time limit.

Round 4BajoranCardassianFerengiJarrod CafaroFL (-100)View opponent's Report
At the opening, he had a nor, and DS9. Playing a Bajorans, this tells me he is trying for trade runs in very troubled waters. It didn't take me long to have multiple ships on the table and by the time he started to do cargo runs, he also had three birds to contend with. Playing transwarp conduit, there wasn't much I could do to stop the trade runs, and I didn't have a big enough battle deck to try to smack every freighter I came across. Unfortunately, for my two key missions I ran into two dilemmas that I was unable to cross. The first being locked out by a dead end, and the second being locked out by a combination of Hazardous duty, cytherians, and maglock. I don't have that many officers in the deck, so there was little else I could do.
