This will be a XV Anniversary Release tournament. The format is a Transwarp deck with virtual cards added or swapped out using any of the virtual cards released by the Trek Continuing Committee. The virtual cards for the XV Anniversary Release are expected be valid for use in this tournament, IF allowed by the Trek Continuing Committee. Although this is a restricted card pool format, regular deck building rules apply. This will be Session 7 of the Fall League.
ADDED NOTES - 10/27/09: IT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED AMONGST THE LOCAL LEAGUE PLAYERS, AND WE HAVE DECIDED NOT TO USE THE NON-ALIGNED TRANSWARP DECK IN THIS OR FUTURE TOURNAMENTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. IN OUR OPINION THE NON-ALIGNED DECK HAS AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE COMPARED TO THE OTHER DECKS. PLEASE NOTE THIS CHANGE AS THE NON-ALIGNED DECK WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR TOURNAMENT PLAY.
In addition, only the virtual cards that are readily available to anyone and everyone and approved for game play by the Trek Continuing Committee are allowed in the November 14th tournament. Any of the virtual premium / promo cards that are not readily available to anyone and everyone, are not a part of the valid card pool. Virtual errata cards are valid, providing the card with the errata is already included in one or more of the acceptable, current Transwarp Deck designs as posted on the Trekcc website. |
