My December online event for 2E is another deckbuilding experiment and a twist on sealed formats. I'm giving it a test run here as it may be used again as part of an upcoming series of events.
Behold the first Transwarp Affiliation Draft.
This event is limited to 16 players. Each player will be selecting one of the 16 Transwarp starters (available from the Public Decks page). After pre-registering, players must send me a list of all 16 affiliation decks in order of preference. This list must be received by Monday, November 18th. Players will receive decks in order of preference from what remains, with player order going from lowest to highest rated player as of November 18th (so lowest ranked player gets first choice of deck).
You will be informed on or around November 18th what deck you have drafted. Next, select four booster packs to add to your card pool. These may be any Decipher-era 2E booster packs, but they must be all different. Please let me know what packs you want by November 25th.
Complete card pools will be sent on or around November 25th. First round pairings will be announced December 2nd. Round four (if we have enough players for four rounds) will last two weeks due to Christmas week.
As always, Skype and Lackey are required to play.
