DS9E V-starter (Balance of Terror)

To print the cards in the starter folow the instructions bellow:
1. Click on the "Print Decklist" link.
2. (optional) If you want to print a list of the cards as well as the card images, click on the "Print Decklist" checkbox near the top of the page.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Print."
4. Wait a few moments, while the PDf with all the card images (and the optional list of cards) is generated.
5. Once it has loaded fully (and you can see all the images), you can either save the PDF and print it later, or just directly print it using your browser.

Deep Space 9 Earth
This affiliation represents the Federation during the era of the Deep Space Nine television show, and thus gives you access to Federation personnel with a DS9 icon (those personnel that served on the station) and Federation personnel with an Earth icon (mostly homebound personnel that administrated, such as Starfleet admirals or ambassadors). Notable Federation personnel aboard Deep Space 9 include Benjamin Sisko (station commander and captain of the U.S.S. Defiant), Jadzia Dax (the Trill science officer), and Julian Bashir (the genetically enhanced chief medical officer).

This deck features the president of the Federation (Jaresh-Inyo), the Acting Head of Starfleet Academy Benjamin Sisko Julian Bashir, Worf and and the Section 31 operative Luther Sloan.

Dilemma Pile Strategy

The dilemma pile consists of basic dilemmas, that should be relatively easy to understand. The Uninvited is in the deck so you can fetch a cheap dilemma (cost 0 or 1), when opponent tries with so few personnel that you can almost not draw any cards. It has some focus on the new dilemmas in Balance of Terror that gets cheaper when there are Persistent dilemmas beneath the mission.

A printable dilemma I recommend adding to your dilemma pile once you played a few games are Hard Time, which is considered the best dilemma in the game. Other dilemmas that are popular and printable are Gomtuu Shockwave, Where No One Has Gone Before and An Issue of Trust. Also, try out more persistent dilemmas in your dilemma pile.
