FederationVidiianVoyager Warp Speed Sealed Deck
Introduction
My first attempt at playing 1E in about 8-9 years. And my first time using Lackey. This was definitely going to be... an experience... ;-)

Round 1Adam WarpinskiFL (-30)
My first game started out, badly. Actually, it started out pretty good, with me getting a good selection of personnel and one of my Sodalities in my opening hand, to get me moving quickly. Unfortunately my first mission ended quickly with a Matriarchal Society, with only 1 Female in play. Apparently, there aren't a lot of female Vidiians. By the time I got to my second mission, my own Scow was blocking the way. Oops. Got that out of the way and attempted, to be thwarted by my lack of a second Officer. So, on to my third mission! Unfortunately at this point, it wasn't looking good. I'd barely even managed to clear any dilemmas, and had unpassable walls at two of my missions, while my opponent had already finished one mission and was about to finish his second for the win (he'd just cleared the last dilemma, which luckily stopped his team). At this point I'd drawn the last of my deck into hand, and still only 1 Female anywhere in sight. A definite deck oversight that'll need to be corrected before next game. But luckily the mission that was blocked was one of two Planets, so I could work around it. I played my third ship at this point and started maneuvering cards around, ending up with the scow pushed out of the way (again), a team at my second planet, and a team (with two ships) at my space mission. It was a win/lose turn. The planet team made their attempt, and pushed through all the dilemmas to finish the mission. The space team made their attempt, got through the Officer wall, and got through most of the dilemmas. The final dilemma ... another Scow. A quick glance at my cards, revealed ... I had enough range left on one of my ships (thanks to the Range 11 Equinox) to move the scow. I had an Engineer (to complete the mission), and a bunch of Medical Vidiians. And I had an Engineering Kit to give them all Engineer, so that they could move the scow. I could win! Except... The Engineering Kit was with the planet team. During all my shuffling teams, I forgot to transfer it over, and left it with the planet team that really didn't need all the extra Engineers. And with that, my turn ended. And so did the game. 60-30 loss... but not bad considering how slow the game started for me, and that I almost managed to pull off the win on my last turn, except for one misplaced equipment. So I was still happy with the result. And had learned a few lessons and had to make a few adjustments to my deck. Adjustment #1 - Need more females.

Round 2Lee CarverFW (+40)
Actually, I don't really remember this game... I know that it was another close game, but this time I came out ahead. Huh... hopefully I'll remember something else later, and come back to update.

Round 3Steve DavidsonFL (-60)
Kazon Bombs go Boom! Several times through dilemmas I managed to wipe out half of my opponent's team. Unfortunately, his dilemmas were stopping me pretty hard too, and my draw was sucking big time. He ended up blanking me, 60-0.

Yeah, the further this tournament went on the worst my recollection of the games went... wow, I'll have to keep an eye on some of these other people to post their reports, and use them for comparison. :-p
