TerranDoppeldummarsch auf dich!
Introduction
With the exception of one event in 2020, I hadn't played online since 2015, so was quite rusty going in, and also had no idea what to expect in the online meta. I mainly wanted to try out some ideas in case I can make it to UK Nationals. The idea was to lock missions with Temptations of the Flesh boosted by multiple copies of Double Dumbass On You!

Round 1RomulanJon CarterFL (-65)View opponent's Report
HQ Romulans + Son'a/Baku. I wanted to try the Alameda combo and seeded it at Insurrection, completely blanking on the fact that this is where all the Anthropologists would emerge. It was good for a two-turn stop, but Jon churned out too many guys to hold the fort there longer, and with the unstopping/double turn, it was pretty much decided there.
Myself, I had a lot more trouble getting (good) personnel into play than I expected, partly due to unlucky Habits of Disappearing, partly because Anij sent interrupts that I couldn't play again back, partly because I forgot to ditch useless cards to reopen my Spacedoor for three turns, so had several turns on which I had to forfeit one or more of my card draws and just couldn't keep up with Jon's reporting power.
The rest wasn't too bad, actually. With LoOS on the Injector Assembly One I eventually took out one ship (too late though), Quinn on Establish Landing Protocols kept a Hidden Fighter locked on the surface, TOTF into V'Ger destroyed the Liseria with 12 people aboard, Lack of Preparation hit. A less fancy combo and more outright kills at Insurrection would have helped.

Round 2Brian SykesFW (+60)
TOS Klingons + Androids Much better/more balanced draws than in the first game, good personnel out early (Mr. Spock, Mr. Scott, Security Chief Sulu, Nilz Baris, both McCoys).
A total of three interrupts were cancelled by Quinn/Amanda Rogers (iirc: WDGNWAS?, DDOY!, Doctory Bricklayer), Crossover: An Invitation was destroyed by Kevin, but too late to make a difference (also had STP out and a ship in hand to report important alphas in a pinch).
My Linguistic combo at Organia hits for a 3 countdown; LoOS prevents his only ship from moving to a different mission for a turn.
TOTF + DDOY! at Seek Remnants is cleared on the third attempt thanks to a SD of a gold star, but V'Ger then blows up the ship with 8 aboard. Faux Pas behind it isn't encountered before the game is over.
I run into these:
at Mine Dilithium: Buried Alive - Space Amoeba - "God" (encountered and cleared on t3; lost an empty ISS Constitution, but mission solved on t4 or t5 after ACE had been used to get an Armus dilemma on a different mission).
at Secure Supply Lines: Personal Duty - Friendly Fire - Gomtuu Shock Wave (encountered on t2; FF shuts the mission on t3; t4: red shirt with two, ACE gets A:EF, but Security Chief Sulu makes it through and reveals Gomtuu, stopped; t5: attempt to clear Gomtuu, is turned into Whale Probe by Disrupted Continuum; t6: solve)
at Enlistment Drive: Some Day I'll Retire Here - Denevan Neural Parasites - Hanonian Land Eel (encountered on t6? for a one-turn stop, combo cleared and mission solved on the next turn)
I think I won on t7, was on 143 points (MD: 30 + 5 AMS + 15 Fear Will...; SSL: 30 + 5 AMS + 5 RATG + 13 Fear Will...; ED: 30 + 5 AMS + 5 PLP)
Brian would have had a shot at clearing his space and solving the mission that only had a lone Dead End on his following turn.

Round 3FederationMaggie GeppertFW (+100)
vs. TOS Feds
A deck I know fairly well; draws were nicely balanced, with good people (FO Spock, Mirror McCoy, Scotty) and three copies of DDOY, two Quinns, a GTTT and WDGNWAS among the ~30 cards I drew until the game was over.
Dilemmas faced were:
at Evade Patrolling Squadron: t2: encountered Incentive-Based Economics, stopped; t3: beat IBE with FOSpock + Tiberius, revealed the expected Friendly Fire - beat it with SD Classic Type II Phaser; solve with 30 + 5 + 13;
at Enlistment Drive: attempt on t3 with four people, reveal Unscientific Method, FO Spock dies, stopped; t4: beat Unscientific Method with Bredahl, Spock's Brain relocates Bredahl to Talos IV, Starship Enterprise gets Dr. McCoy to nullify Scientific Method, solve ED for 30 + 6
at attempt Mine Dilithium: t4 attempt and clear LOL Yichu, Rules of Obedience, Linguistic in one go

Thanks to a good personnel selection and the gifted Starship Enterprise for its uber-download, I managed to clear 8 dilemmas for the three-mission for the win by turn 4. Maggie would have had a good shot at clearing Talos IV next turn to get over fifty, then do the Dead Ended space w/ her own Cytherians for the comeback win, but, weirdly enough, thanks to Spock's Brain I was able to relocate Crewman Bredahl to Talos IV, who could have assassinated an Anthro or Exobiology mid-attempt to all but guarantee Linguistic Leberkas would hit after Romulan Mind Probes (+ a few copies of DDOY) had filtered out some guys.

Round 4Sebastian KirsteinFL (-44)
vs murder droids
Alameda: 1-in-4 selection went his way to clear it on the first proper attempt; unlucky, but that's life; unfortunately, the Linguistic combo next door was also defused because of an unreasonably bad random selection with Romulan Mind Probes that resulted in only a single initial stop, and an insufficient number of DDOY in hand to make sure Linguistic would hit.
TOTF worked fine to buy me several turns in space, but Sebastian could simply have completed his Dead Ended mission for the quick win any time.

Less than ideal draws this time: personnel selection was relatively poor, several key skills were missing, and I only had a single DDOY ready to increase my chances of making the Alameda and Linguistic combos hit. Attempting missions aggressively backfired hard here, as I ran headlong into several kill dilemmas that prevented me from running Study Divergent Draws and keep attempting. Also RANGE was an issue: with an Empok Nor on table, I correctly expected a ship full or murder droids threatening to come through the wormhole, so I decided to put my outpost in the Badlands (Plasma Storms protection, but span = 5). Bad plays + some bad luck = loss.

Round 5Paddy TyeFW (+100)
vs The Galactic Army of Light Forgot to take notes. I remember beating a Row, Row, Row Your Boat with a doubled-up Music for the win. Could even have done the attributes >63 from up to three personnel with only two: Alice Series + Captain Kirk, with boosts from Taking Charge and Lower Decks.

Closing Thoughts
This rough first draft of the Double Dumbass strategy worked really well, it was mostly the other dilemmas that let me down. I've tweaked the deck to make it more reliable in the meantime. Is DDOY! a problem card? It might be, if only because it might push people even more towards silly TNG Borg/Adapt nonsense.
