Introduction
In the warm-up, I played one of my serious decks: the two-mission cadet deck that I have been playing for a while now, and that Tobias has now reworked after the erratum to Restore Errant Moon. In some respects the new version is more susceptible, in others it's even better than the original (Galen!). I wanted to see whether this deck would be an option for day 2, but mainly I wanted to give the dilemma pile a go. It's basically my Day 1 Voyager pile, trimmed down a bit (less 8-costers).

Round 1DS9Amber Van BreemenFW (+100)
Amber couldn't find a ship for a while, but had some good personnel out when she finally attempted. I stopped her once with Accelerated Aging, then got some filters to work on her next try. Myself, I had all the key pieces in play early on (Tallera, Riker, Picard all in opening hand, Cadets were easily found with TATV), and after two stopped attempts (In Development...), I finally did the mission. With Enterprise-J and Galen out, I completed DAA on the first try.

Round 2CardassianSteve HartmannFW (+95)
Steve almost walked through his first mission when I gambled on the lone Issue of Trust that I gave him, hoping he hadn't drawn The Central Command yet. I'm not sure whether he hadn't, or had and I cancelled it. This time, I drew into enough Cadets, but didn't have both Commanders and Tallera out yet. Steve stopped me for a while, churning out new guys, and working on his first mission. I finally had all the pieces in play to auto-complete POM for 55 points. Unfortunately, that meant I didn't have the range to fly home and pick up more guys for planet mission. I decided to attempt DAA anyway, hoping I would get a dilemma under. Steve took out Tallera, but somehow I still had the skills and attributes left to do the mission - I had to complete the mission, even though I didn't want to, as I had nobody aboard the ship, no Tallera in play and only got 40 points for the mission, putting me on 95. The odds of completing Eliminate Sphere Network or Historical Research were slim, so decided to go digging for the Guinan in my deck (good thing I had taken out Silarin Prin earlier). I got her before Steve could get through his missions and got the win.

Round 3BorgCraig GiblettFW (+90)
I was able to destroy a Quintessence early with a Grav-plating Trap, and threw cadets at my space mission before Craig had enough stuff in play to come over and steal guys. He had to play two stoppers each on my first two attempts, so I got through on the third attempt. From then on, it was relatively smooth sailing, because there are several personnel in the deck that provide all the skills for my planet mission, as long as the equipment is around, so all I needed to do was send one "good" guy and some cadets for cunning, and keep the rest safe. My dilemma denied Craig for a while at Assimilate Resitance, so I dodged the K+E threat.

Closing Thoughts
The dilemma pile worked as intended, even though it had little back-up from the draw deck. I wasn't too worried about the mission I almost conceded to Steve, as the Voyager deck I had for Day 1 had even more interrupt prevention to deal with TCC, K+E, BOT, etc. Also, the Voyager deck would have Machinations, Hindrance, No Kill I, Vault, and multiple Excalbians to make planet missions a pain. The draw deck was a bit too unreliable for my taste, so it was out as a Day 2 option.
