Johannes Klarhauser (Kaiser) Tournament Report - 2E - Worlds Side Event 2013-10-20 - 10:00 AM Das VS9 Introduction I had some downtime after the Round of 16 in the main event, as some matches went to three games, so I joined the side event. It actually helped to prevent a Bye for the round. I quickly trimmed down a DS9 deck that I had originally considered for Day 1 down to Virtual only to grab some achievements. It lost a lot of speed and some good dilemmas, but winning was secondary. Round 1 Missed Game MG (0) I was still playing Amber in the main event during this round. Round 2 Carsten Weller FW (+95) Carsten played an old-school Borg deck without much in the way of download shenanigans. Myself, I pretty much played personnel as I drew them, but couldn't find an Under Siege for a while. When I finally had the Centaur out, I started attempting, got hit with a Gomtuu, but put two under. With no TCS in play and my dilemmas doing their thing with only one or none under for the first three attempts, I quickly micro-teamed my way through my two space missions, then mega-teamed the planet to put four under. Carsten nicely stopped the next attempt with Excalbian, but after that I could walk to the win.
