KlingonFederationThe Big Treaty Project, Episodes 6+7: Peace in Our Time, Parts I+II (Organian Peace Treaty + Federation/Klingon)
Introduction
Next up: Organian Peace Treaty + Klingon/Federation Treaty achievements. The deck idea (get two treaty achievements for the price of one) was taken, again, from one of Ken Tufts' decks, though I modified some pieces.

Round 1ByeBY (0)
Had a Bye to start.

Round 2Niall MatthewFW (+15)
Niall's dilemmas killed a lot of my guys, but I was able to recover and cough up the skills for my missions before he got through my walls. Losing a key personnel and having to recycle him from the discard pile gave a couple of turns head start, and finished just before Niall was able to make his big push.

Round 3FerengiMatthew TingFW (+95)
vs TNG Ferengi. All my missions were next to each other, with the stealable IAP far away from Matt's Scientists. Likewise, his Host Metaphasic was out of reach for me. I went first and had a really good start, with Surprise Party and Duck Blind running right away. Also, Temporal Shiftings came steadily, so I always had something to play. Having learned that I need to gather intelligence on dilemmas early, I sent four down to Agricultural got through to In the Pale Moonlight, which I passed the next turn with Ru'afo. In space, a Brain Teaser stopped Leah Brahms, but I had the Honor to beat Ankari Spirits and was stopped by a wall then (after I had debated whether to name Friendly Fire or Cytherians with The Genesis Effect. Neither was seeded there).
Meanwhile, Matt had got stopped by my Medical combo and scored 5 points, and attempted Host Metaphasic with a big crew. He beat Implication, but had to return his ship to hand when he hit Cytherians, so I Scorched his Hand. I then completed IAP, and decided to try and clear things under Insurrection. It was Ferengi Infestation / THTF / Dead End, which I passed, so I had to complete Insurrection, but In The Zone kept me at 85. With the double turn and the unstop text from CMP, I was able to triple-attempt Repair mission to complete for the win.

Round 4CardassianMichael Van BreemenFW (+95)View opponent's Report
Michael downloaded Lore early on and moved a ship in the direction of my Insurrection, but couldn't quite reach it, so I figured he wanted to block me from using Complete Metaphasic Particles and had not put a Dead End there. I decided to go all in and sent all my guys to attempt Insurrection on turn 2. I had the skills to pass the walls, lost some points to The Higher...The Fewer, but was able to complete Insurrection and get a double turn. I moved on to Agricultural Assessment, where I got stopped by Flim-Flam Artist, enhanced by Access Denied. Michael was stopped by my Medical Crisis combo on his first planet. After some ferrying people around, I finally got through the wall with the help of a special download, which put me on 53 points. MVB attempted a different mission, but couldn't get through the Gomtuu Shock Wave. With several ships out, I attempted IAP with two crews. I guessed correctly with The Genesis Effect, naming Crystalline Entity, so got rid of that one. The second ship got through Scientific Method and completed with mission specialist points and Kirk points for 50.

vs TNG Feds. We shared Earth right in the middle of the spaceline, and my IAP was dangerously close to Kris' Host Metaphasic, so I self-seeded my Cytherians there so the Scientists would have a harder time stealing it with Kurak. Kris attempted on turn 2, and lost five people to Implication/Flapjacks/Land Eel. I tried to match his quick start and peeked at Agricultural Assessment, found a Dead End, and moved on to Repair Mission, where The Arsenal: Divided stopped me. Kris had to STP his empty ship to hand because it had been destaffed, so had a turn to form a crew that could get by The Arsenal. McCoy nullfied The Cloud, but both my ships were damaged by the Gomtuu that followed. Kris was struggling to find a SCIENCE to get by the Land Eel, but he eventually cleared it the turn after I passed the Gomtuu and completed Repair Mission, so the score was 45-40 to me. Kris moved on deeper into my territory to a space mission with only 2 under. He cleared it and completed it for 35 points, but by that time I had completed Oo'noS for 30 (Founder Secret/Flapjacks killed several, including McCoy/Medical Crisis, which I passed with Nurse Alyssa and some equipment), so we were sitting at 75 each. I wanted to resume work at AA, but Kris' docking procedures shut that down for that turn, so it was Kris' game to win. He made the bold move and attempted at Earth with a big crew, lost a guy to Horta, lost Agyer to Unscientific Method, then was stopped by his own Land Eel because of a Lack of Science. On my turn, I put Officer and Transporter Skill on one of the ships in orbit to protect against Crisis/Now Would be a Good Time, and attempted with all the rest. Kris thought A Fast Ship Would be Nice, so I gave him my Future Enterprise. The last dilemma was Linguistic Thingy, which I was able to pass for the win. Close one, and a lot of fun!

Closing Thoughts
This was an incredibly entertaining tournament, and the deck was a lot of fun to play, even though Insurrection feels a bit cheesy.
