Introduction
I figured with GenQ and Monument becoming legal the next weekend, this was my last shot to play DQ SuperJumpstart. So one Vidiian/Equinox build later, I head to Indy.

Round 1KlingonAndrew DickFL (-25)
I get 13 personnel out on Turn 1 and finish Liberation around turn 3. I head over and beam the Troika and a random Vidiian down at Prevent Annihilation and promptly get them trapped by a Field Generator or some such, and fail Executive Authorization. Yea, I dont think there is any of that in my deck. On Andrew's turn, he attempts Test Mission, Thopok has some Issues and then the Cytherians think a trip would be nice. The theory is Thopok will kill everyone! However, Andrews ship was out of range that turn. On his next turn, he plays WNOHGB and moves over and goes off the end of the line for an easy 15. Oops. On my turn, I move over to Study Protonebula, I clear the mission but realize that all my Astrophysics is either dead or not in play yet. So all I have to do is get an Astrophysics out and I get the mission. Andrew then solves Test Mission to get him to 40 and the current lead, 40-30. I sort of mangle my way thru CDV, clearing all the dilemmas, but short on skills that were on stopped personnel. Andrews next turn sees him complete Quonos for another 30, putting him up 70-30. My turn rolls around and I solve CDV for 45, regaining the lead at 75-70. All I need is an Astro to go solve the Protonebula and I win, butI cant draw one for the life of me. Andrew takes his crew to the Albinos Hideout and throws his crew at the dilemmas. Enough make it thru and Andrew gets the win.

Round 2FederationCarl BlackfordFW (+100)
Carl is running the Ent-E start with a ship stuff. He catches a Higher the Fewer on his first attempt, followed by Pancakes and a Sleeper Trap. That ends badly. I get a solid go on Liberation, solving quickly. I move over to Prevent Annihilation and get through that fiarly quick for an early 70-(-7) lead. I make a small miscalculation when I send my whole crew (minus 2 left on the 2nd ship to solve) at salvage Operation. It goes well until I dont lose enough ppl and accidentally solve, but with only one skill for 20 points instead of the win. I did score 5 points off a dilemma so im sitting at 95. Carl is having problems with the Cardassians from the trap and there is a fairly brutal struggle going on. Eventually, he gets the survivors out of the way, but the delay lets me work thru the last mission for the win.

Round 3HirogenCameron KirbyFW (+74)
Cameron was the last to show for the tourny and hadnt made his deck OTF legal, so after a couple cards got pulled he was ready to go. THis is the first game im not alone in my quadrant. I hit an early Edo Probe ( and kept going for the fail) and he hit an early THTF for an early game score of (-4) - (-10). I made it thru liberation and started on Study Protonebula while he hit the Scout Encounter/QSL stasis combo (see decklist, Qs Tent, Scout Vessel/Thei). He gets another ship out and solves followed by destroying teh scout vessel. Eh, it did what it was supposed to do. I get thru the Protonebula and move back to my outpost. Camerons been getting more ships and personnel in play and is now looking to hunt and kill. I prep a couple ships and go for CDV. Cameron clears off my equinox, easily killing everyone. My saving moment is that the Vidiian ships have 8 range and by luck of the spaceline, it will take him two turns to come kill me. So i send everything i have at CDV and manage to survive for the win.
