William Hoskin (Gumbo) Tournament Report - 2E Standard - Online Event 2012-04-02 - 12:00 AM DS9 - Online Introduction DS9 tactical should be fairly solid with Phoenix and shran to slow my opponent down. Round 1 Tyler Fultz FW (+70) Tyler was doing a DS9 Bustling Smiley deck. Seeing this I wish I had done something similar. My Tacticals gave me the chance to win slowing Tylers deck right down. Round 2 Oliver Thust FW (+50) Olivers Deck was Dissidents and a TT pile luckily I have the Sao Paulo out and TT is basically useless until I get tp my planet mission. I get the FW before the Dissident machine can get going. Round 3 Ben Hosp FL (-60) I hate Borg, I hate dissidents as well so I really hate Borg Dissidents. I struggle to stop them and don't have the right ship out so get slaughtered and Ben goes on for the FW Round 4 Richard New FL (-40) I did not see this one coming. lots of events on missions and when Richard pulls the trigger I sit back and wish I could add some mass event distruction. A great deck but needs a lot of set up. Closing Thoughts Some interesting deck ideas, main thing is to remember always use the Sao Paulo first so that I don't get slaughtered by TT piles.
