Jackie Treehorn presents: A Five Way |
Introduction |
|
|
Round 1 | | Jeremy Huth | FW (+30) |
Close game where Jeremy played great with his androids. Cheated through some walls but the legacy stops were my trump card. |
|
|
Round 2 | | Nat Kirton | FW (+20) |
An even closer game in the near mirror match. The trump cards for me was dead ringer and field studies. Without them 8 lose. Always fun to play nat and compare notes on different ways to pay the same deck. |

Round 3 | | bandana8472 | FW (+65) |
Love playing frid. Always a great game and good to get the reminder from the original to slow down my pace. I'm used to playing control frid where I have to pay quick! ;) |

Round 4 | | Kris Sonsteby | FL (-25)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Gave kris his toughest fight all day but want enough. Needed one more turn to win. Kris' alc anvil to my chest was the difference when I went from 8 to 0 personnel in play, stopped him long enough to field studies and get 6 peoples into play but took just too long. Great game between titans. |
Big Kev was also experimenting with 5-space Voyager, and connected with a Dead Ringer and a Whisper in the Dark at ALC to buy himself some time. However, thanks to Scotty and Matt Decker keeping Energize off the table, the body count eventually caught up to him at Utilize Abandoned Relay Station. FW 100-75. |

Round 5 | | Barry Windschitl | FW (+20)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Mirror match two. Again, legacy was the difference. Highlight: taking two! Causals to the core and still getting the WI fw. Payback to barry for him squeaking out the tribbles win the day before. |
I knew that Kevin would likely have the same FS tech that his fellow Fallsian had, so when I drew a Causal, I threw it at him. Luckily, they both stuck, and forced him to abandon the Studies. Legacy was a Constant thorn in my side, and gave him that much more of an advantage. |

Another therapy session. Good stuff. |
