KlingonReturn to Quonos
Introduction
After a long debate, I decided on breaking out the good old Klingon Solver, now updated to include a few cards from Return to Grace. There should have been 6 of us, but Steve Upton pulled out because of a quiz related injury. We still had a Round Robin, with 5 rounds.

Round 1ByeBY (0)
The first round Bye... I prepared the sandwiches for lunch.

Round 2RomulanDoug HughesFW (+80)View opponent's Report
Doug had broken out his very old Romulan deck... He had Hiren and P&P out first turn, but he couldn't match my speed, especially once he'd been hit with a WNOHGB. Although I did struggle to get a ship to start, especially when he PandP'd my first ship to the bottom of my deck... Full Win! Off to a good start.

Round 3FerengiWilliam HoskinFW (+60)
Will was playing an experimental/achievement deck, taking advantage of Pawn against Pawn and Unwanted Guests. A really good dilemma pile, but hampered by the draw deck that was bloated for the achievements. A BOT at my last mission gave me the win. Second FW of the day.

Round 4BajoranUnjustly BannedFW (+35)
James was playing a Bajoran micro-teaming deck, combined with Favor the Bold to allow him to attempt and complete an easy Planet mission twice, which he could complete with 3 personnel. Another good deck, but my dilemmas and support managed to hold him off long enough for me to complete my three missions. My third FW in a row. At this point both myself and Matt were undefeated, James was 2-2, and Will and Doug had yet to win a game.

Round 5StarfleetMr SladeFW (+30)
Matt's mirror Starfleet deck was awesome. Very fast. He'd managed to complete his first mission the first attempt, as I found out he was also playing an Unfair Comparrison dilemma pile. Next turn he was 2 missions ahead. I managed to pull through next turn, completing my first mission then solving the next before heading to Brute Force where I was stopped by one dilemma, Unfair Comparisson (20 vs 19 damn it). I stopped him his next turn with help from Endagered, then completed the next turn for the win and the tournament, giving me a Bye to the Europeans.

Closing Thoughts
What a great tournament, not least cause I won, yay. Klingons are still great, at least in our meta. The new Bajoran deck James played is full of potential, I was lucky. I think I'm going to have to reconsider an Unfair Comparrison dilemma pile in future; you have to be lucky with micro teaming.
