Non-AlignedThe Photonic Insurgent War
Introduction
While we don't (yet) know wht Chris C., Jeff, and Carolyn were playing, I think I can safely say this was the ONLY all Non-Aligned deck at Worlds this year! A singular accomplishment, if I do say so myself. My whole initial point was (having read about the resurgence of Hologram trickery decks) that I wanted to build around the Lokkirim Vessel and Deactivation, on the off chance that I faced such. Unfortunately, as War Council and Ancestral Vision are on the banned list, I was relegated to the old school style of gaming, that of the dreaded 'play 1, draw 1,' while getting pummeled by extremely common usage of Duck Blind, Son'a Observatory, and the like. (and in all honesty, WC would have only affected 12 of my 60 cards. oh well)

Round 1BorgDan HammanFL (0)
Dan, our esteemed Shipping Manager. And a good, fun guy. Unfortunately for me, he was running his Particle 010 shenanigans deck (of which I'm familiar, as I have run my own version of it, not a copy mind you, but, my take on the strategy that is). So, I knew I was gonna get pummeled. And, I did. Unfun game #3 in that regard, but, I hereby apologize to Dan for being a less than ideal sportsman about it. I look forward to any future games with him and hope he is able to do so, too.

Round 2FederationBrandon MooreFW (0)
Duck Blind, FF:Relaunched, however, he invalidated the ongoing use of Relaunched by having some non-FC/EE Feddies in play. Though, Duck Blind and FF: Renewed kept him ahead of me on draws. My combos shut him down, his combos gave me fits, but, I managed to pull off three missions for the win. A very good game, all things considered. Brandon, I look forward to seeing you in the future.

Round 3Non-AlignedFederationChris DonatiFL (0)View opponent's Report
Chris, running Matt Kirk's "As Dope..." TNG movie era Feds deck (if I'm giving credit where credit is due?). A VERY, VERY good deck. I could not keep up, but, I certainly gave it the old college try. A blast of a game. Congrats, Chris. To the future!

Round 4StarfleetDavid BowlingFL (0)
A legend! I get to play a Legend in the world of Trek gaming. How awesome is that? It was! Absolutely. Dave ran Starfleet and as I enjoy playing the affiliation myself, I knew a decent bit of what was in store. Not disappointed, nor dejected. We had a great game and I take my loss with pride. Dave certainly has earned his reputation, the respect of the community at large. He's a fun guy and great to converse with. I'm eager to confront him again in the not too distant future!

Round 5KlingonRyan LangfordFL (0)
Ryan, I believe I had met at either Worlds '08 or '09, possibly. He ran the Mah Niv deck I've read about, but, not yet played nor played against, so it was a treat to see it in action. Impressive. A strong deck, certainly, but, not broken, if you ask me. I like seeing mechanics employed that we're aware of, but, haven't had the opportunity to face. Kudos.
