Tournament Report - 2E Standard |

The KCA is highly considering kicking out the only two existing Klingons and shall henceforth be named the BCA. (majority rules, and all that) The motion, SecondEd! |
Introduction |
Tried for a possible hidden achievement, and tied it in with Make It So 2011's first challenge, that of the vertical cycle of 6 Mirror Universe themed cards (of which, my first ideas gravitated towards making the KCA in 2E playable as a standalone affiliation/subfaction), so felt the timeliness of this might nab me a gold hidden or two, alas, not to be.
Playing three hq's is a... (but, fun, nonetheless) |
|
Round 1 | | Dan Peterson | FW (+30) |
Dan's Romulans. My three HQ AU peeps and rides drove to victory. Attribute pumps extraordinaire are nice (Standard Punishment, Nador/Rokassa, the J, etc.) and helped greatly. |

Round 2 | | Thomas Ohnstad | FW (+100) |
Thomas' first tourney. His Klingon Empire fell to the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance of the Mirror Universe. Reflection is an awesome dilemma, but, really only in a deck of this kind, of course. Though, I don't recall getting more than two stops off of it at any use in any of the games, while I could 'peek' at around 6 to 9 cards, I only ever hit 1 or 2 event/interrupts. Oh well. |

Round 3 | | John Western | FW (+100) |
John ran his own concoction, a TOS deck of decent repute. But, again, my Mirror Universe peeps stomped all over his playground. Boosting themselves, gaining a skill or two for IAMD Garak, and yes, in each of these games, I went planet first, in order to give me a free Nador, and the expert use of the Rokassa at my space mission. Heh heh. |
