CardassianDS9DS9/Cardassian for IDIC Draft
Introduction
I was hoping to draft DS9 folks for this tourney. The first few packs that came around didn't have any, but did have lots of Cardies and a few Klingons. This got everyone drafting those affiliations, so later on when Sisko, Eddington, Garak and some of the other weenies showed up, I grabbed them easily. The 1 span HQ cannot be underestimated in value in this format. I also coincidentally managed to draft lots of people with the right skills for Track Survivors and Penetrate Enemy lines. I even had some Guls for Comfort Women, which didn't ever get used. :-(

Round 1CardassianAl SchaeferFW (+70)
I don't remember much about this game. I got out fast with all the right people and solved things pretty quick. FW 70-0

Round 2CardassianEdward PigmanFW (+70)
I played Clown: Go Away on Ed during his first mission attempt in apace, then never ended going away. I was confused why he didn't go try a planet. The random loss of personnel was enough to keep him from solving. I also got though a Subspace Accident with Infinite Combinations, which I would call the MVP of this game. FW 70-0

Round 3CardassianMichael MoskopFW (+35)
Davin discarded Michael's 2nd ship. That slowed him down considerably, though he did manage to get out ahead of me to finish his space mission. On my final mission attempt, his last dilemma was Final Triumph. I had drawn up a full hand looking for personnel and had Quite a Coincidence in hand to discard and prevent the kill. That got me the win. FW 70-35

Closing Thoughts
I like draft. It's a skill to be learned and honed, but one worth doing.
