Introduction

Round 1KlingonKris SonstebyFL (-100)
I got schooled by a real KRiS deck. Holy crap, Kris' deck was fast. The discounts on the [Pa] [Kli] are just too good. I also got caught up in the Lackey shuffle (double of the same space dilemma at a planet mission and vice versa), so my dilemmas whiffed basically 3 times in a row. Thank to Kris for being patient and showing me around Lackey in this first round. We kept playing after he won so I could get a feel for the program.

Round 2CardassianMichael Van BreemenFL (-70)
Shit. How did I miss that I had Uninvited in this deck? I took out every other retired card, but missed this one. I don't remember much about this game. Finals week was a bit of a blur.

Round 3DominionKlingonStarfleetRoss FertelFW (+50)
This was the first time I ever got to play against Ross! He was playing a very interesting deck revolving around engagements that net dilemmas under your mission. He combined Delta Pavonis, Ja'Chuq and The Dominion Will Prevail to get a ton of stuff under. He had out Call to Arms to get the bonus points for the engagements, except he didn't have the 4-cost personnel on the ship to activate it. He managed to

Round 4DominionGreg DillonMW (+30)View opponent's Report
Greg was playing a very nasty Infiltrator attribute denial deck. I got out very fast and managed to get Kavis Alpha and Boreth done before he got all his tricks up and running. He hit me with Bashir Founder, then captured him with Keevan. He then rescued Bashir with Skalaar and put him on a ship with Khan. Since I still commanded Bashir Founder, my attributes were now -2 all around. He started hitting me hard at Brute Force. A Living Death followed by some filters would be enough to keep me from solving before time was called.

Closing Thoughts
I was hoping this deck would be a good choice for Continentals, but I don't think it will be. Everyone seemed to be able to fight off my gladiators. *sigh*
