Aaaaannd, You Go Boom! |
Introduction |
I just wanted to blow shit up. |

Round 1 | | Michael Moskop | FW (0)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
I blew up Mike's ship ship with 2 Gomtuus and a well-placed Symbalene Blood Burn. He was using Damar to mess with my play and spend. After the round was over, he realized he had been using Damar backwards and conceded the win to me. I actually lost 100-10. The 10 points were from engagements. I had one unsuccessful combat, because I forgot he had Jem-hadar and couldn't beat down on him with 5 8-strength Klingons. |
I conceded the game since I realized afterwards that I was using Damar incorrectly during the game. |

Round 2 | | Eric Bieche | FL (-35) |
Eric had brought the Klingon starter to the tourney. I found my old reliable Tragic Turn dilemma pile in my boxes for him to use instead of the start dilemma pile. I had to give him a shot, you know? He only had to switch out 5 cards to make it legal for the tourney. I battled him successfully thrice and managed to get through a mission. He eked out the win in a really weird way. In the course of completing his first 2 missions, he had gotten two damage markers on the ship. On his last attempt on his third mission with 8 people, I played Guess Who's..., Back Room and Sympathetic Magic. I did not stop the right people to keep him from winning, so he allowed the SM to be placed on his ship (thus blowing it up) and went through for the win. |

Round 3 | | Corbin Johnson | FL (-90)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Automated Repair Station + damage dilemmas = no fun for me. I managed to successfully win an engagement, but that was about all I could get going. |
Maggies angry Klingons were bent on seeing some explosions. I did manage to get out a prefix codes though by solving the Automated Repair Station on the same turn that the prefix codes went on my ship. Got three missions solved in relatively short order but not without a lot of hemming and hawing about sympathetic magic. What a great dilemma! |

Closing Thoughts |
I'll try this deck again in a full pool. I was mostly shooting for achievements today, as is normal for me. |
