Throwing Out the Trash |
Introduction |
Standard mirror Starfleet. No helpers, all STF. |
|
Round 1 | | Brian Leonard | FW (+90) |
I got out all my important stuff early - Watch Dog, Optimism, the Defiant. Managed to blow through missions using Standard Punishment. Awesome. |

I learned that Watch Dog is clutch for this build. I kept drawing interrupts, but had no place to stash them. I also learned that ETU does NOT belong in a Mirror Starfleet build. |
Maggie broke out the Mirror Starfleet guys for some no-hand hijinks. Having played a lot of Starfleet myself and knowing the strengths and weaknesses of the Mirror dudes, I was able to pick off the right people at the right times with Holding Cell. I think this would have been a different game if Maggie had chosen to use the Watch Dog downloading Archer instead of the virtual one. |

Round 3 | | Al Schaefer | FL (-100)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Al just got out ahead of me way too fast. I wasn't drawing into anything useful. I did manage to get out Watch Dog and a bunch of interrupts, but couldn't do anything about them, as Al killed it pretty much immediately. No Trip out to protect them. *sigh* |
Maggie was playing an AU Starfleet deck I'd never played against before. The Prince showed up on turn 1 again and I got a few Gambling devices in play. I finished my first mission while Maggie was still at Earth and loading up a Watch Dog. I took a chance and tried to cancel the Watch Dog and it went through taking 4 interrupts with it. Maggie's dilemma pile was going for attribute reduction, and while it did the trick on my first attempt, it left a lot under for my second. Maggie finally started attempting after she could staff the Defiant, but ran into a dilemma stack that ended with her crew going WNOHGB. I was able to use These Are the Voyages to cycle my deck quickly and get two quality teams down to my last mission for the win. |

Closing Thoughts |
I think that Julian, Dax and Ezri will help this build out, along with TAtV. Version 2.0 will have some changes. |
