FederationTime Travel to Doom
Introduction
This was an OTSD tournament. We each got an OTSD and two Premiere, two Alternate Universe, two Q-Continuum and two Reflections boosters to build our decks. I was extremely lucky that I got a Time Travel Pod, a Temporal Rift, a Rogue Borg Mercenaries, two Scans, a Senior Staff Meeting, a Res-Q and a Palor Toff. This allowed me to really slow my opponent down while seeing the dilemmas I would face in space. My deck was 5 space, 1 planet. The planet was just in case I couldn't steal my opponent's planet mission to get my Time Travel Pod. I have always found it better to go all-Space in OTSD because the dilemmas are usually as bad.

Round 1Matthew McClainFW (+75)
I seeded my Husnock Outpost at Matthew's Establish Relations. I then stole Establish Relations (to get the Time Travel Pod - but I forgot to download a Non-Aligned personnel). Matthew was able to complete one mission (the only one against me all day). He tried to slow me down using Brain Drain. It did work for a turn when I didn't have two ENGINEER to move a Radioactive Garbage Scow. In the end I won 100-25.

Round 2Ted ReebelFW (+100)
This was interesting as Ted went all Space missions. I was able to steal two of his missions (one thanks to a well-placed Outpost Raid). I then used Scan to see the dilemmas under the third mission were all misseeds. I won this 100-0.

Round 3Adam DrakeFW (+100)
Adam attempted a planet mission first but thanks again to a well-placed Outpost Raid I killed the personnel needed to solve the mission (as well as the space mission next to it). This allowed me to steal the planet mission where I had seeded my Time Travel Pod. I then barely avoid a mistake. I nearly attempted the space mission next to the planet mission - I had seeded my outpost here). I checked and didn't have SECURITY. I used a Nanites - Barclay's Protomorphsis Disease - Tarellian Plague Ship combo in all three games at an opponent's space mission that I stole to not only score mission points but also 20 bonus points by discarding Alyssa Ogawa (all three games she was the MEDICAL who treated the Plague Ship). I used Scan and saw a Quantum Singularity Lifeforms under one missions so I played by other Scan to check out the adjacent mission (with much easier dilemmas), which I solved for a 100-0 win.

Closing Thoughts
This is the second OTSD tournament in the past three that I have played where I pulled a Time Travel Pod. It is probably the worst card an opponent can see because the only counter to it is Amanda Rogers. Even Hor'ghan can be nullified by Jamaharon or The Devil and hurt by Temporal Narcosis. Obviously, I won the event. Playing in dozens of OTSD tournaments over the years helps. You learn to play 5 or 6 space missions (if possible) and steal opponent's missions.
