Dominion Jem'hadar/Breen solver |
Introduction |
Ill add the deck later. Essentially alpha quad Jemhadar/breen STR with some event hate and a legacy pile. |

Some crucial points where legacy failed miserably, and I did not include heightened perception to cover my butt. Also, just not convinced that legacy is very good in the first place. |
Ed was playing a multi-species Dominion deck with a Legacy pile. Legacy failed twice which opened the door for me to take my missions and get the win. |

Round 2 | | Eric Bieche | FL (-65) |
Dopnt really remember this or the next game IMO. 3 games vs. starfleet and everything started to blur together. |

Please see above :P |
Ed's Legacys worked ok against me. But the starfleet were able to finish two missions in one turn to come from behind and finish the game. |

Closing Thoughts |
Legacy thoughts: not sold on it. Without heightened perception and/ or Manheim+ shran or mccoy, it is basically just a skill based attrition pile that cant stop big teams. The conundrum is this: you cannot build this deck without SOME non-skill dilemmas. If you omit S:ID and or timescape (nevermind having 3 copies of legacy) Kirk and Donatra will rip you a new one. If you include those, and build the deck large to dilute the chance of them coming up, you have a hard time finding legacy. if you build the deck small to get legacy, then you run a really good chance of it failing. Damned if you do, damned if you dont.
Dominion: cant speak to other builds, but for right now, Jem/Breen based STR builds still fall prey to the same dilemmas that they have for years, which have not become any less common as the meta changes. |
