Tournament Report - 1E - Deep Space 9 Regional |

DS9 Regional Warp speed sealed. |
Introduction |
Got what I thought was a decent card pool...turns out I was the only player to NOT get a truckload of VOY mains. Blergh. I made a few play errors, but not too many so we'll chalk this up as so-so. |
|
Round 1 | | Amber Van Breemen | FL (-35) |
I slowed amber down a decent amount by damaging her ship with a dilemma and then attacking it to destroy. Unfortunately for me, her dilemmas locked me out of two missions- Clown: under the mask with no personnel in the deck who could pass it, and Matriarch society with 1 female in the deck. yay. |

Round 2 | | Corbin Johnson | FL (-70)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
I, like Corbin don't remember too much from this game. Here is where I made the lions share of my play errors and it cost me. |
Ed is one of our 1E "regulars" and I'm not remembering too much from our game right now but I always enjoy playing games against Ed as he is the funniest guy in our group (sorry everyone... he is). He also does an amazing impression of Grumpy Cat. Seriously. I think he IS the grumpy cat. =) |
|
Round 3 | | Brian Leonard | FW (+65) |
Brian got some bad beats. I set off his Kazon bomb early when it didn't get too many people, and was able to drop 3 personnel a turn due to having lots of MED Vidiians. I also somehow destaffed his USS Voyager (lucky ass pull) and towed a Scow onto his outpost mission. |

Round 4 | | Nellie Bly Workman | FW (+70)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
I don't remember a ton from this game, but it is good to have a new player in the area, so cheers to that! |
Honestly, this one seemed to be over before it began. While it definitely ended before time, and might have gone on longer than I thought, it sorta felt like I had lost the moment I started. My biggest problem was attempting a mission a bit too early in the game. It wouldn't have saved me, but I would have scored a few more points, at least. |

Closing Thoughts |
Sealed is fun. Corbin brought the big money prizes and even though I couldn't deprive Jason of his overlays, it was still a fun event. |
