Introduction
Playing 1E for the first time in 10 years. Very rusty with the rules and mechanics. Didn't expect to do so well.

Round 1KlingonMike GarveyML (-20)
I was lost against Mike but things quickly came back to me. He was playing Tribbles so it took me awhile to get my head around how to move them around. I outpaced him for personnel and went to attempt my first mission. All I remembered from 1E was lots of dilemmas kill and solo attempts worked to see the dilemma but came at some risk. This stategy worked and I solved my first mission. Second mission I tried the same thing with around 20 guys on my ship at same location. I encountered God and remembered why solo attempts were bad. I spent the rest of the game slowly recovering and had a modified loss (86-65 I think).

Round 2BorgDaniel HydeFW (+100)
Both Daniel and I were new to 1E. Daniel was playing Borg and I have learned my lesson about solo attempting but I was morried the Borg were going to come and attack / assimilate all my personnel. He tried to solve Earth and I forgot all about the clunky Borg probe mechanic to solve missions. He was unable to get the right probe card and I went on to win 100-0.

Round 3StarfleetGarry DillonFL (-70)
Garry was playing Klingons and he outpaced my cards draws with some funky mechanic. Garry outpaced me and went on for the full win.

Round 4Ben DillonFL (-70)
Ben was playing Mirror AU Terrans and TOS Feds. I liked his deck alot and he used the Q mechanic to his advantage for Temporal Vortex. It was in this game I discovered I was a big cheat and using the Guardian of Forever mechanic incorrectly (Whoops) .. in the end it made no difference. Lucky ofr me Guaridan of Forever was not yet printable as my deck would have been full of it as a draw mechanic and I wouldn;t have been able to use it.

Round 5FerengiCraig GiblettFW (+43)
Craig and I were both new to the game but my memory of how to play was coming back to me. i used the Q mechanic effectively to recycle Temporal Vortex which helped my deck alot. This game was brutal with dilemmas killing so many personnel. The funniest part of the game occurred when i encountered Conundrum with 20 or so personnel (all I had left as my draw deck was empty) and chased down Craigs Ferengi ship at the opposite end of the timeline aboard my ever so slow Rebel Interceptor. At this point Craig has lost so many personnel he was struggling to complete missions. It was a race to the finish and the Terrans just outpaced the Ferengi to the full win.
