Discard pile mischief Version III |
Introduction |
Last chance to get my deck right before Nationals. Made some changes by adding personnel that cost 4 or more with Physics and Geology (T'Pau having both was great). |
|
Round 1 | | Peter Hill | FW (0) |
Pete was playing Borg. Peter is often a hard matchup ofr me because he used Distress Call, Outclassed, Breaking the Ice and We'll Never Know effectively. I only get past these with the right skill gaining in my discard pile or Bridge Officers Test (which is often hard to pull of as I have to gain a heap of skills before triggering it). In the end the pieces fell in place today and I got the full win. |

Round 2 | | Kieren | FL (0) |
On my first mission attempt vs Kieren I got a little too excited and killed a heap of cheap personnel to gain skills and attributes to get past Gomtuu whilst thinking I had Tahna Los in play. He wasn't .. he was in my discard pile and I never recovered. Made a mental note at this point ... must concentrate harder at Continentals (no mistakes). |

|
Round 3 | | Scott Newsome | FW (0) |
Scott had never faced my deck before and is a little behind on the latest cards. In the end he had no answers for all the skill and attributes gains. |
|
|
Round 4 | | Daniel Waller | FW (0) |
Daniel is a smart dilemma player and often slows me down .. our games often go to time. This time I mamaged to bust through the dilemmas and get the full win. |
