"Are you sure it isn't time for a colorful metaphor?" |
Introduction |
I went home and looked through my cards and stumbled across Vulcan Mindmeld. Remembering a conversation I had with Ben about the power of skill gaining I decided to give it a go. The plan was to gain Diplomacy, Leadership / Security ot Biology / Mecical to combat some of the most common dilemma combos I had encountered. |

Round 1 | | Ben Dillon | FL (0) |
Ben and I both had slow starts making it anyones game. He struggled to draw into Assign Mission Specialists and I couldn;t draw into my personnel that p;ay for free. When Ben first solved I triggered my Mission Debriefing which earned we some extra time. In the end, I had the advantage of attempting one more mission and going for the full win. I hit Whale Probe and Ben solved next turn for the win. Ben showed me that if I attempted a different mission (the one my crew started at) i would have easily got the Full Win. Close game and a well earned win to Ben. |
