MaquisIf you can't have victory, sometimes you just have to settle for revenge.
Introduction
Maquis events and Eddington!

Round 1RomulanCraig GiblettML (-5)View opponent's Report
Craig was playing Romulans and got his bonus point engine going early. With no event destruction in the deck all I could do is watch his score go up and up. I got a few successfully uses of Eddington in this game and liked that he took the heat off Kassidy Yates. Craig was obviously using Whispers and Tsiolkovsky but I couldn't use SRR to stop them from hitting. Craig was willing to spend 4 counters on a Tacking to get rid of one. When we timed out me both needed one more turn to get the 100. Craig was the deserving winner of this match.

Round 3DS9Daniel WallerMW (+25)
Walzo was playing DS9. He was runnin anti equipment tech and shut down Eddington. I got SRR out and named The Clown Go Away and Rogue Borg. Tight game that Walzo may have won if we didn't time out.

Round 4StarfleetKierenTT (0)
Kieren was playing SF with Kha support. He got out before me and nearly solved fist turn when I incorrectly played Personnel Duty. It stopped none even though I was attempting to track skills - woops. Biogenic Weapon was the saviour for me, stopping Kieren from solving his second mission. For Kieren, a smart use of Conflict cost him 5, forcing the true tie, but prevented me from solving. Late game I had multiple chances to solve but couldn't bust through Kieren's dilemmas. Multiple uses of Timescape and bouncing dilemma (Echo Papa) made the difference.

Closing Thoughts
I had fun. None felt that Eddington was a problem even though I managed to use him once to get to strength 14. Self Replicating Roadblock helped - it may have won me the game vs Kieren if I had drawn into one and named Timescape (which would have been the obvious choice).
