Rick Kinney (T-Ricks) Tournament Report - 2E Standard 2012-03-24 - 12:00 PM Triple Trouble TNG Introduction This is the first time I have ever built a deck using three headquarters. Chock up one more achievement! The deck itself was too slow to develop. I used two easy missions worth 60 points and got bonus points from matching commanders on their ships with Deploy the Fleet. I recycled the events with Ressikan Flute. Round 1 Eric R FL (-100) Eric played a very fast duel hq deck using TNGT Earth and DS-9. He got his people out very fast and was solving his first mission before I could even staff a ship. I paniced and started my first mission without enough personnel and paid the price. I was de-staffed and never recovered. He went on to an easy victory by beating me 100-0. Round 2 Bye BY (0) My best game of the tournament - a Bye. Nuff said. Round 3 Joanne Kinney FL (-30) I had practice three games with Joanne using these tournament decks and won two of them. She evened it up by winning this one (the one that counts!). Her dual hq Dominion/DS-9 deck is also very fast. With bonus points from Distant Exploration and Debate Over Dinner, she was able to do a couple of easy strength missions and score 100 points before I could score all my bonus points. Another full loss for me, 70 - 100.
