BorgBorg sealed Decipher starter w/4 CtA boosters - drafted
Introduction
This was a traditional Decipher sealed deck using both, the Dominion and Borg starter decks. Each player also received four Call to Arms booster packs to draft. Then, depending on how and what they drafted, they went with either affiliation. I chose this card pool as I had quite a few starter decks gathering dust and thought it would be a fun way to get some use out of them. All along, I had made the decision to draft Borg as I expected most players would want to go Dominion. I was right. Four of the six players went Dominion, so I did have a pretty good selection of Borg cards as the packs went around.

Round 1DominionTed ReebelFW (+65)
My game against Ted went fairly well for me. Ted was concentrating pretty hard on what he was planning to do and failed to hear me report Locutus of Borg, even though I did pause and wait a moment for him to look up. That didn't bode well for him as he only game me one dilemma that required two Treachery on my first attempt at my second mission. With Locutus, I walked through it for an easy mission solve. Ted caught up a little by completing one mission, but I had too big a head start and finished my third mission due to the fact that I had a LOT of weenie Borg in play, including multiple copies of the Strength+ and Cunning+ Drones in my deck so I could really pump up the stats. Result, full win 105-35. (I also forgot to declare the points from using Locutus' skill when overcoming the dilemma on the second mission).

Round 2DominionJohn KinneyFL (-65)
John and I went head to head pretty evenly and I was able to hold him off for a while. However, he went in with Mega-crews and I had taken out my copies of Limited Welcome (not a good idea by the way). So he pretty much muscled through my dilemmas better than I could through his. He managed to draft a Secret Identity and took out my Locutus in my first mission attempt. That made my people susceptible to many more of the otherwise easy dilemmas. End result was a full loss, 35-105.

Round 3DominionJoseph BazemoreFW (+65)
Playing against Joe, I had my doubts about winning. Joe pretty much owns my asterisk when it comes to sealed tournaments. However, I was able to get a lot of cheap peeps into the game and simply out-man his dilemmas. I solved my last mission with a four-person away team - kind of unusual for the Borg, especially in a sealed deck environment. Joe gave it a good shot but I got the best of him in this one with a full win, 100-35.

Closing Thoughts
We had fun with some cards that were just sitting around and now we have some more backers too. Kind of a win-win situation. Joe and I did get the achievement for playing against the same player in 25 different tournaments though, so that was cool too.
