Battle to the end |
Introduction |
I thought I would try to make a battle deck and in theory, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Then the real world woke me up and I had to face the reality that my battle deck isn't worth the cost of the sleeves I put them in. :-) |

Round 1 | | | () |
I guess I haven't got the concept down on a good ratio of battle cards vs. 100,000 Tribble cards, and a few of the other powers that I thought I would need. I didn't get to battle enough, and when I did, I couldn't pull 100,000 Tribbles during my few battles. They all seemed to end up in my hand for some reason. I did Masaka often to get them back into the deck, but the timing just wasn't there for them to appear when I needed them to. I was able to win almost all my battles, but only because I picked opponents that had low denomination cards for the most part. |

Closing Thoughts |
I think I'm going to just back off battle decks for awhile and see if I can't learn a little more about how to make them work better. I like the potential I see in them, I just need to figure out how to get the right cards at the right time. I did discover that a battle deck can work pretty well to deck out a player if they don't have a big deck to start with! |
