RomulanNon-AlignedA cunning, clever and smart Green Infestation
Introduction
I went with an Android deck for two weeks in a row for the first time, ever. Not lazy, but I just wanted to give them another try. I thought the potential was there so I figured why not?

Round 1TOSJoseph BazemoreFW (+35)
Joe got a little annoyed with the four person away teams I was using. For some reason, he complained that it didn't give him much to work with for dilemmas. Good to know. Who'd have thunk it? Just kidding of course, that was the logic of the deck. I'd attempt with three Androids (Data, Lore, Ruk and a human, Ira Graves). Noonia Soong was key to getting the specific Androids I needed to attempt the missions in the way the deck was designed to work. The initial problem I had with Joe was that I didn't pull a ship until almost twenty minutes into the game. By then he already had one mission done and was working on his second. Once I got a ship though, things went pretty much as planned. I was able to go through each mission without too much effort. Not much you can do against that if you don't use Skeleton Crew or have Transport Crash Survivors in play.

Round 2TNGMike ConstantinoFW (+65)
Mike's game was the most difficult of the tournament for me. I wasn't able to pull my science for my third mission and time was running out. My dilemmas were keeping Mike off the scoreboard, but I was trying to get a full win. Finally, with about three minutes left in the game I was able to get the skills I needed in the attempt to solve for a full win. I wasn't sure I could do it to be honest. Mike is a new player but he did keep me on edge most of the tournament.

Round 3TNGNon-AlignedTed ReebelFW (+65)
I suspected Ted might go with an 8472/Infestation mission deck. We had talked about it on the ride home from Palm Bay last weekend. I didn't overly tech against it, but I did put in a couple of cards I might not normally use. I had a copy of Old Feelings for an 8472 in my core, as well as Accelerated Aging for the Anthropology missions. Add to that the fact that my Androids that didn't avoid being stopped by Infestation, could overcome his The Weak Shall Perish, keeping that dilemma out of my core. That kept the number of his 8472 dilemmas well below what he needed. He did solve Terrasphere 8, but didn't get any other missions done before I solved my third mission for the full win.

Closing Thoughts
I was hoping that by going with only four personnel, with the ability to prevent one stop or kill each attempt, that I could complete each mission without too much trouble. It only worked because no one had TCS and I only got hit with one Skeleton Crew late in my third game against Ted. My dilemmas were pretty standard ones to cause attrition and did the job pretty well. Two weeks in a row is enough for Android usage, but I think I'll keep them on a back burner for future use though.
