Introduction |
Hi, this was a fun tournament. I had some lucky draws and a good sealed pool (despite the lack of a single way to draw an extra card). |
Round 1 | | Maggie Geppert | FW (+100) |
Ankari "Spirits" killed 4-6 of Maggie's people before she was able to get rid of them, and then she hit a Berserk Changeling(maybe 2) while trying other missions. Meanwhile I was able to get most of my personnel in play and solve stuff. |
Round 2 | | Paddy Tye | MW (+25) |
I know Paddy also ran afoul of at least one of the Berserk Changelings. I am not sure I would have won if time didn't run out. |
Round 3 | | Mathew McCalpin | FW (+50) |
Sorry, I don't remember a lot about this game. I need to take notes right after the game. I am pretty sure my strong dilemma pull was a factor here. |
Round 4 | | Jon Carter | FW (+35)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Jon was able to temporarily drive the U.S.S. Constitution(TMP) home through battle but I pulled a ship with better shields/range and found some holes in Dilemmas. John did get through a Berserk Changeling and solve that mission but I managed to outrace him. |
I just couldnt keep up with his free plays. That plus key dilemma kills just left me behind |
Round 5 | | Michael Van Breemen | FW (+60) |
A stranded ship meant Michaels MEDICAL crew couldn't reach his Quarantined people in time to save them from a Medical Crisis. This gave me enough time to win. |

Closing Thoughts |
I kept the deck to 30 cards because I had no way to draw extra cards and it was helpful to boost my confidence in building decks with fewer cards. I feel like there were also some good interactions with Dilemmas that made me rethink how I approach missions in general. Everyone was genial and fun to play with. Thanks, everyone! |
