Introduction
So due to a little miscalculation, The building on the university campus that the tournament was scheduled to be played was locked, for the Holdays.... whoops. Luckily 4 of the 5 players arrived together, and were together when we tracked down the 5th. Thanks to tksolway, we were able to gain access to a different building and moved the tournament there. Thanks again for that :). So I had hoped prize support would arrive in time. It did not. Luckily i still had some prize support from the last tournament I tried to run, that only 1 player showed up to. Foreman had also managed to track down some boosters of Energize and I pulled 15 cards from my binder. All in all, decent prize support. Now, on to my deck. I finished compiling the deck at 12:30am the night before the tournament. Went to sleep, woke up at 730 and sleeved the deck haha. Now most people will tell you, bringing a deck you have never even played to a nationals is a crazy idea. but i had confidence.

Round 1RomulanThomas SolwayML (-5)
My first time playing against Far seeing eyes. Let's see what happens. So his plan was to use telepathic invasion, and remove all of my biology or exobiology, which ever i had less of. Turns out i had 1 biology in my whole deck. I was playing Navaar, with the hope of dialing in some skills. She found herself removed from the game very quickly with the first Far Seeing eyes. Then Tksolway played 'Greasy' Dukat. He found himself promptly sleeping in a holding cell. The game went on, my personnel trying to drill through my first mission with my one biology hopping around from the ship, to the stop of the deck (Caretakers' guests), to the discard pile (Secret Identity). Eventually i finnally got enough under and solved the mission with 5 dilemmas under it. Now my ressikan flute hit the table. And returned the two holding cells in my discard pile to hand. Ironically the skill I was tracking for my dilemmas was Geology, which my opponent needed for his 1st mission. It also took him a long time to play a ship. Eventually he slapped down another P'Tol (after playing 2 at what cost and drawing close to 10 cards in one turn) and solved the mission. I had earned 35 points from my mission, he had earned 30 points from his mission, but he still had 10 bonus points from all the prejuice and politics and getting under your skin. Modified loss. just barely... 40 to 35

Round 2ByeBY (0)
Bye. took time to set up prize table.

Round 3DominionDonald SniderFW (+100)
Donald was playing a Dominion infiltrator Tragic Turn deck. He came into the tournament not expecting to win, but to have fun murdering crews and away teams. My deck came out of the gates flying with low cost personnel, I was attempting with 7 on turn 3 or 4. The first attempt i hit a misseeded All Consuming Evil, then a tragic turn, then an unscientific method. Unfortunately, I had no personel with science, so it whiffed. 35 points. Next turn I fly to the next mission. Tragic turn shows up and a few dilemmas go under, 2 deaths i think. mission failed. Next turn, by now the tenak telar has shown up to make my life difficult. so using 2 ships a little outpost trip and off to the next mission. I beleive that attempt also succeeded on the first attempt. 70 points. Now all that remains is my last mission with 6 dilemmas under it already. Donald decides he would like to try and score points before the tournament ends, and attempts a mission. 1 Breaking the Ice stops his attempt. My Last turn I auto solve with 6 personel. 100 points it was a very fast victory, with only 2 or 3 personnel dying to the dilemma pile.
