Stuart Marsh (SAM2000) Tournament Report - 1E 2013-05-18 - 11:00 AM The Dominion will Prevail Introduction Round 1 Kevin Jackson MW (+40) Kevin was playing a fast continuing mission, federation solver. I got way Dominion war machine going and parked outside his outpost (With Strategic Base). He quickly managed to get 65 points from a 45 point mission and 4 mission specialists (I didn't have a Q The Ref at the time). I started building up more ships and fire on docked ships destroying a Nebula. I played a Krajenski Founder to his outpost. He made a break for it and attempted a mission, but the had to STP his ship to hand after I used Issue Secret Orders on the ship. Next time he tried to leave his Outpost I outgunned him. I then had enough Weapons to take down his outpost. I started mission solving and was slowed down my Emergent life form. I got 70 points from two construct depots but then time was called. Round 2 Danny Nuttall MW (+45) Danny was playing Kazon battle. We had a stand off! Both of use moved to building up some ships then carefully moving to our missions. Danny stayed in the Delta quadrant but I had no way to get to him. Danny cleared one mission for 35, but was held at Liberty by a Scientific Method (Kazon didn't do Science!). I managed to get a construct depot and complete Rescue Founder. Then time was called. Round 3 Niall Matthew FL (-65) Niall was playing Delta Feds with 6 delta missions. I went all out for mission solving and made good time. Niall was going into the lead but then I then drew into a Krajenski founder and slowed him down by using Issue Secret Orders but I sent him to a wall mission, rather than a kill. Niall went for for a mission but hit Chula: the Chandra, Kazon Bomb and lost all his crew but 2. He started to rebuild and I managed to get some missions cleared, but the Feds moved fast and completed 3 missions, and then I realised I had no Q the Ref out!!!! So Niall won, as I coudn't get a You are a Monument! Closing Thoughts The deck worked really well but needed Quantum Slipstream Drives to get into the Delta Quadrat. Emergent Life Form is a real issue for ships with no holodeck!
