Jonathan (Triumph) Tournament Report - 2E 2014-11-22 - 11:00 AM "HAVOC!" Introduction I wanted a simple, easy to play deck, and then since was this a more casual tournament put in Engage Cloak + Kla'diyus, a combo I've wanted to try for years. Fun ensued. Round 1 Constance Corbett FW (+70) Kla’diyus attacks killed Picard and Bashir. W00t! Round 2 John Corbett FW (+50) Kla'diyus killed Sisko! W00t! Round 3 Connor Corbett FW (+70) But then a Borg Cube was NOT impressed by my irrelevant Weapons of 10. Klingons were sad, so they went and solved missions instead. Closing Thoughts Constance and Conner are both still young and learning players, but Constance in particular is a pretty solid player already! I believe the key moment of the tournament came in Game 2 was when I stationed Kahmis on the Kla’diyus instead of bringing him on a mission attempt. That meant John's Ingenious Jury-Rig whiffed against me (no other Transporters in my team), which in turn caused Polywater to be overcosted (too many people in the team), which in turn caused the cheap dilemma after it to also be overcosted, and let me bring my whole team through to solve my final mission. Let that be a lesson to you: Klingons don’t know how to operate transporters!
