DS9E Confessions/Mutants |
Introduction |
I played a DS9/Earth Science solver deck using the Genetically Enhanced personnel, as well as Confessions in the Pale Moonlight to help with dilemmas. |

Round 1 | | Amber Van Breemen | FL (0) |
Amber was playing a Klingon Riker deck. We were fairly even through most of the game, with me up 70 to 60 when time was called, leaving us on our final turns. I was unable to get through Amber's Secret Identity/Rogue Borg Ambush combo (she pulled Norah Satie from my away team and Luther Sloan, my only other Intelligence was in my hand). On her last turn, Amber was able to complete Brute Force by loading Riker with Security, giving her the full win. |

Round 2 | | Ben Paulsen | FW (0)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Ben was playing a Romulan GUYS deck. He got both GUYS and P&P out very early, but I was able to slow him down enough on his first mission attempt to get the early lead. I was able to destroy his GUYS with Sloan in the mid game, hampering Ben's bonus point scoring. Again this game went to time. Ben sent a large away team to try to force his way through his last mission, which had no dilemmas under yet. When I stopped his away team, I was gauranteed at least a modified win, but I was able to complete my third mission on my last turn to earn the full win 100-65. |
Greg was trying to run Genetically Enhanced, Science and Confessions DS9. Played FSE early to take out two Confessions to limit the skill cheating. Killed Sisko early with a lucky pick. SI'd Bashir, and Greg had Eddington out in the end to skill cheat a Rogue Borg Ambush with Confessions and double skill gain with Patrick against Whispers in the Dark. Greg used Luther Sloan to take out GUYS midway through the game. Greg won 100-65. |

Round 3 | | Everett O'Shogay Jr. | FL (0) |
Ev was running the Klingon Riker deck as well. I got a bad dilemma draw on his first mission attempt (and made the mistake of not redrawing with Unexpected Difficulties), allowing Ev to get through his first mission in one attempt. He killed two of my personnel with an Assasination Attempt, setting me back further. I was unable to make up for my initial mistake, and ended up losing the game 100-35. |
